Sample Answer
I’m going to talk about the time I was really misguided information posted online. The thing is, my mom’s birthday was coming up. I decided to bake a delicious cake for her. But I don’t have a clue how to bake. So, before I began, I googled how to bake a cake online.
I found a ton of recipes and videos that teach you how to make all kinds of cakes. In the end, I picked one that seemed very detailed, and I purchased all of the ingredients like cake flour and butter according to the recipe. The next morning, I followed the recipe and its procedures very carefully by making sure to complete every step exactly as it was shown online.
I was expecting perfection, but after the cake was baked, it didn’t look the way I wanted. It was supposed to be fluffy but the one I made was as tough as a rock. I was so disappointed with the end result. Later my mom did me a favor by checking the recipe I got off the internet. She determined that the recipe was wrong and that the quantity of water written on it was two cups short, which made the dough too tough.
I guess the recipe posted online was incorrect. Anyhow, it was because of this minor error that my entire cake was ruined. Honestly, my experience has made me realize that I can’t fully trust whatever information the internet hands me; there are mistakes everywhere.
