Is time management important?

Time management is super important, especially if you’re a student. In order to juggle all your assignments well, you have to make and stick to a schedule. It’s not that easy to plan out your time, but once you get the hang of it, you realize that time management is such a life-saver. It helps people get things done on time and avoid procrastinating. It really comes in handy when it comes to getting good grades.

What are the effective ways to manage time?

The first thing that comes to mind is making a to-do list. When you have a ton of stuff to do, you should order them from most important to least important. Then, starting at the top, you can work your way down so you get your high-priority tasks done first. Another effective way to manage time is getting rid of distractions. Turn off your phone or anything else that isn’t helping you focus.

Which kinds of things will occupy a whole day for people?

Well this is a tricky question…Actually now people are always tied up with their work or study, so they spend most of their time on their schoolwork or jobs. Another thing I can think of is that young couples often spend a whole day on a date. You know, lots of young guys want to have a full-on experience when it comes to a date. So as far as I know, young couples do a lot of fun activities with their partner during a day, like having a good meal, watching a movie, or going shopping. All of those cost time.

Do you think most people can manage their time well?

I suppose that in general, most people can manage their time well. I’m thinking more of adults, who have had more experience and know how to schedule better. You know, most Chinese adults don’t have that much free time; many of them need to work overtime as well as run errands after work. So they have to know how to make the most of the free time they have. If you think of it this way, you’ll find that many people are really good at handling their time.

What do old people and young people do during their free time?

Well, as far as I know, a ton of elders in China love square dancing. It’s a kind of group dance that many Chinese people love doing in an open space. It’s quite popular among seniors. And it’s a very healthy activity both physically and mentally. When it comes to young people, I think what they do the most to kill free time is playing cellphone games. Honestly, many people my age look at screens day in and day out, which is really a decadence.
