Listen Carefully is one of the good listening practice materials for those who are just starting to learn IELTS to practice and familiarize themselves with different types of listening. The book is not only for IELTS learners in particular but also suitable for all English learners.

The book “Listen Carefully Full Ebook + Audio” is a basic English listening practice textbook, and it is also one of the best English listening practice books you should refer to, including 15 listening exercises on various topics every day, such as eating, shopping, holidays, holidays, objects, health, …. Listening levels are arranged from easy to difficult, helping you get used to them, and practice listening to English effectively.

Listen Carefully Review

Some topics of the book Listen Carefully:

  • Unit 1: Numbers, telephone numbers, addresses
  • Unit 2: Names, meeting people, places
  • Unit 3: Times, dates
  • Unit 4: Food, recipes, in a restaurant
  • Unit 5: Furniture and rooms at home
  • Unit 6: Prices, paying
  • …

In each lesson, the book provides listening lessons according to different types of dialogues, monologues and questions for students to distinguish and form a better way to follow the topic.

As the name suggests, you have to listen carefully to pass the easy – difficult lessons that the book offers. The exercises are not too difficult but require more careful listening.

At the end of the book, you have the answers and audio scripts to refer back to, and review your ability to do well. Remember not to look at the answers first, but try to answer until you can.

Listen Carefully Study Guide

Once you have the book in hand, some of you unzip it and start referencing all the books first. Audio files are classified according to the process, please check first.

To study books effectively, you need to have a dictionary next to you or open the Oxford dictionary (because this is an Oxford book, it is better to use this dictionary).

As you listen to each lesson, read the question carefully and guess what words to fill in some blanks. Then turn on the audio and, listen once, fill in the answers that you hear. If you haven’t heard it all, listen again and be determined to complete your listening.

When you come across a good word, phrase or trap, you need to write it down so you can practice avoiding some of these common mistakes later.
