Model Answer:
I have visited a number of fish markets to buy fish from time to time. But, today, I am not exactly going to talk about one of those fish markets in my home town that I visit at least once a month, but a fish market which I visited after travelling to one of the biggest port cities of my country.
I visited this port city about a few years ago when one of my cousins had invited me to visit him. This cousin of mine wanted me also to move there and get a job. So, one day, I finally decided to visit my cousin and learn about the port city a bit more before making any kind of decision regarding the move. After I arrived there, my cousin happily took me to different kinds of places which included the actual seaport – where all kinds of ships from abroad were docked to load and unload the goods. I was also taken to some handicraft markets one day before going to a nice seafood restaurant. And it was in that restaurant that I became really interested to visit a fish market in that exotic port city since it was in that restaurant, I got to eat some of the most delicious grilled fish that I had ever tried up and until that point. So, later on, both my cousin and I went to the biggest seafood and fish markets in the town.
Needless to say, after visiting that fish market, I was simply stunned because it had such a wide range of fish that for a while, I felt like I was actually walking in an ocean of fish! I also felt like it was actually a haven for foodies, photographers, and market lovers where one could easily have the best experience of authentic market life. Besides, being able to see so many fishermen at work and “in action” in chorus, chopping and cutting varieties of fish for selling to their customers, was just a treat to watch!
