Sales made by a coffee shop

Sample Answer 1

The table shows a typical weekday’s sales of a coffee shop which is located in an office building. It is clear that people purchase more coffee and tea from this restaurant in the morning and evening while they opt for sandwiches during the lunchtime.

Analysing the coffee shop’s sales report reveals that people purchase 265 cups of coffee and 110 cups of tea in the early morning and 200 cups of coffee and 75 cups of tea in the evening from this coffee shop. In the noontime, the number of sandwich sales quadruples than that in the early morning. The sales of this item in the evening is also far higher than of the 2.30 to 5.30 pm. Tea sale is highest in the morning, 110 cups, while the coffee sale is high both in the morning and in the evening. Pastries are sold more in the breakfast time amounting 275 which is more than thrice than the sales in the evening. Finally, people purchase 50 pieces of sandwiches in the early morning and the highest sales could be observed later in the morning till the lunchtime. The sale of sandwiches drops in the later parts of the day.

Sample Answer 2

The given illustration presents data on the sales volume in a coffee shop on a weekend based on four different time-slots. As can be seen from the given table data, the shop sold four items – coffee, tea, pastries and sandwiches and the sales of these foods and drinks varied based on the time of the day but coffee sold exceeded the sales of any other item.

It is obvious that early morning (7:3 am to 10.30 am) and evening (5.30 pm to 8:30 pm) are the time people preferred to have a cup of coffee as the 265 and 200 coffee sales in these two time-slots indicate. The restaurant sold around 800 cups of coffee which was almost 3 times higher than the tea sales in this very shop. Interestingly, demands for tea and coffee in the noon were far less. Besides, the highest pastry sale was in the early morning with 275 sale volume and this was the highest sale unit on this day. Sales volume of no other item on that day went beyond 275. Despite the high demand for pastries in the early morning, it decreased in other times of the day. Finally, sandwiches were bought more in the lunchtime than any other period of the day. 200 sandwiches were sold in the noon alone while the combined sale volume of it in the rest of the day was even less than that.

Sample Answer 3

The provided table displays the number of sales in a coffee shop, which is located in an office building. Information is categorized for 4 different items and 4 different 3-hour periods in the day.

Overall, the best selling product in the shop is coffee. Coffee, along with tea and pastries, has the largest sales from 7.30 to 10.30 in the morning; while people prefer to buy sandwiches in lunchtime.

In detail, about 800 cups of coffee are sold in a typical weekday, with a third (265) just in the first 3 hours. Sales of tea and pastries, at the same time, are 110 and 275, respectively. Additionally, it can be seen that people gradually buy less coffee and tea in lunchtime and even less between 2.30 and 5.30. However, the figures increase by the late evening to become 200 for coffee and 75 for tea. Sales of pastries decrease to just over one-third (95) between 10.30 and 2.30 after a flying start and finish the day with the number 80. Regarding sandwiches, sales in lunchtime (200) and late evening (110) are significantly larger than those of early morning (50) and afternoon (40).

Sample Answer 4

The supplied table lists vending made by a coffee shop in an office building on a typical workday. In general, consumers prefer coffee to tea throughout the day. Meanwhile, for snacks, both pastries and sandwiches sales show a fluctuation.

Looking at the details, the coffee requisition is preferable to people. It counts 265 sales in the morning around 7.30-10.30 am and 200 sales by the end of the day as 5.30-8.30. Despite the number of coffee demanding levels down, the figure is still higher than tea consumption on the same day. Tea sales almost halved coffee sales in the morning, only 110 and pertain 75 sales at 5.30 – 8.30 pm, approximately 3 times lower than coffee vending at the same time. Coffee and teas are preferred by people earlier in the morning and in the evening time.

In the case of snack preference, pastries are true as the favourable snack in the morning. It is about 275 sales, almost 5 times higher than sandwiches which are only sold 50 pieces at the moment. The sale of pastries fluctuates modestly during the rest of the day and it is only 80 at 5.30-8.30. In contrast, more sandwiches are sold at the end of the day. It is calculated 100 sales, about double higher than in the morning retail.

It can be clearly seen that the highest sale in a day was recorded for coffee. The best selling time is between 7.30 am – 10.30 am, when the sales of each item are the biggest, except for the sandwich. The sale of sandwiches is just 50 at that time. Coffee becomes a favourite menu for costumers in the morning and evening. The sale of this menu is the highest within 7.30-10.30 am and 5.30-8.30 pm, which is 265 and 200 respectively. The sales of sandwich become the highest at 10.30 am -2.30 pm period while coffee is in the second rank with 185 sales. At 2.30-5.30 pm, the sale of pastries is the highest among the menu.
