50 Sample Answers for IELTS Writing [Academic] sets out to help you with the fundamentals of essay writing. These solutions were produced by a native speaker who is also an experienced IELTS educator and professional writer.

It’s worth mentioning up front that there are other ways to get a band 9 score besides these answers. There is more than one way to say things in whatever language you study, whether it’s English, Korean, Arabic, Spanish, or any other. One thousand expert writers might create a thousand unique IELTS essays.

Each of the 50 sample answers in this book has been carefully crafted to help an IELTS student write an essay that will score higher. They illustrate how to respond to the criteria of the grading scheme without resorting to flowery prose.

That is, in fact, one of the most crucial points to keep in mind. There is greater value in precision and breadth than in attempting “difficult” language. You should use common sense when preparing for the IELTS writing exam. Any reliable method for writing an IELTS essay may be roughly classified as follows:

1) Analyse the question

2) Structure your answer

3) Write your essay

4) Check your writing

Unsurprisingly, the third part is the most challenging because of all the factors to think about. It’s worth stressing that your essay doesn’t have to be flawless to be successful. Just make sure it’s very nice.

Always go for the simplest possible framework while working with me. Refrain from making the same mistakes twice. There must be an introductory and concluding paragraph as well as two or three body paragraphs in every Task 2 essay. This is how your framework has to be set up:

1) Introduction

2) Body paragraph 1

3) Body paragraph 2

4) Conclusion

Examining the provided example responses, you should be able to get a sense of how a high-scoring IELTS essay is put together and written. Not all of them are like this, so don’t feel limited. They are examples to guide you, but you are responsible for the actual work of organizing and writing the essay.
