Sample Answer 1:
I thoroughly agree with the proposition – capital punishment should be made mandatory in our society, where crime ratio is being increased day by day because we live in a world where people are not even certain about how they are going to return, either on legs or on shoulders. There is a law of physics, which is known as “Murphy’s Law”, which states that “Whatever can go wrong, will go wrong”. So whose duty is it to make it right again?
To start with, the ratio of crime and terrorism is being so increased exponentially. People feel unsafe, even being in their own homes. Criminals show no compassion or mercy to those who are being held by them as captives. I do not know what they get by doing such heinous and diabolical acts. In my opinion, the death penalty should be made as an essential punishment for those criminals and insurgents who love to annihilate the humanity or the society we live in, where people get massacred brutally just like flies in the air. The good example of this is in most of the middle-eastern countries where criminals get beheaded or hanged publicly for their wrongdoings, that is why their crime ratio is equivalent to almost zero. Crime is, after all, a crime, irrespective of how big or small it is. By this, I mean that adopting such policies might frighten those criminals and make them think at least ten times before bringing any kind of furore among citizen and annihilate them.
On the other hand, many people or activists think that criminals are also humans so they also deserve another chance to rectify themselves to become a better citizen in future.
From these facts, I would maintain that no human being happens to be an insurgent, criminal or terrorist by birth. It is just the time which plays as the best teacher for some and worst for some.

Sample Answer 2:
In the past, capital punishment was widely applied to the criminal who were convicted of the serious crime, but now this method is rarely employed by few governments. While I accept it has some conveniences on the society and the administration for controlling the violence, I believe that capital punishment should be banned for several reasons.
On the one hand, there are some benefits to the regimes when they implicate the capital punishment. Firstly, petty criminals would discourage to become dangerous offenders because they can see the penalty of the other sinner. This could result in the reduction of crime on the society. Secondly, many governments have to spend a vast amount of money by fostering the convict. As an example, the USA government spends more than 5 percent money of their budget by rearing the criminal in the prison. However, if they employ the capital punishment, the state can able to save much money. Thus, it is fairly easy to comprehend that capital punishment has some advantages on the society and the nation.
On the other hand, it can be argued why this method should be banned. One important point is that people can be wrongly convicted. For instance, recent news is published by a daily newspaper named Daily Star in Nigeria that a person was wrongly punished after 25 years it has been proved that he is innocent. If the capital punishment would apply to this person, he would not get the proper judgment. Another point is that as some criminal are mentally ill and they have no idea about their crime. Moreover, this disease has treatments. Therefore, it would not be a good idea to apply this action in all circumstances. Furthermore, the lifetime imprisonment, rehabilitation etc. can be the alternative solution to manage the crime.
In conclusions, I think capital punishment should not be required in this modern era. There are many alternative methods we can apply instead of capital punishment for controlling the serious crime on the society.

Sample Answer 3:
Crime rates have been drastically increased in some developing countries over the last few years. These countries lack behind in legislation for any act of violence. Some people argue that capital punishment could play a significant role in mitigating criminal activities. Others claim that workshops, seminars and rehabilitation centres are more helpful in controlling crimes in society. I believe that death penalties are rapid and reliable solutions to eradicate such problems.
The role of capital punishment is vital for the betterment of any society. Each culprit should be brought to justice and punish for its acts. Death penalties and jailing are mandatory if anyone proved to be guilty. By doing so, violence and crime rates will steadily decrease with the passage of time and will guarantee a free and safe society.
Other factors such as counselling, rehabilitation and educating people could immensely reduce crime rates. The government should organise seminars and workshops to create awareness among people about the dire consequences of wrongdoing. People with the criminal background share their sufferings with teenagers as they have had firsthand experience of its drawbacks. Furthermore, parents can also play a pivotal role in reducing crimes. They should monitor their children activities and take necessary actions if they found something suspicious.
To sum up, I would like to say that lawmaking for criminal activities is very essential. It will not only rectify the current situation but also provide benefit to future generations. Moreover, highlighting the severe outcomes of violence could also contribute a lot in making crime free society.
